The urban transformation that has spread to every town in the country not only shortens distances and makes it easier to reach destinations, but also unlocks the tourist potential of areas that have recently seen the development of guesthouse tourism and outdoor sports.
This is the case of the Peshkopi-Maqellare road, which connects “Rruga e Arbrit” with the center of the Dibër district, where work is being carried out with great intensity in order to complete this important investment within the deadlines, which will significantly shorten the distance with the capital, making it passable in almost 1 hour, as well as promoting the flow of visitors and tourists in this area.
Prime Minister Edi Rama was on site today to inspect the work on the new road.
While the director of ARRSH, Evis Berberi, explained that the new road will, among others, increase the safety parameters of vehicle traffic.
The construction of the new road was also welcomed by the residents of the area. “Every time I meet you, I will tell you that Dibra will be sincerely grateful for this road, which she never thought possible”. – said one of the residents to Prime Minister Rama.
